Once you decide to go ahead, the path to a working system follows a clear sequence.
- Site survey. A detailed look at your roof, electrical panel and shading to finalize the design.
- Design and permits. The system is engineered and the necessary permits are filed with your local authority.
- Installation. The panels, inverter and wiring are installed, usually within a day or two for most homes.
- Inspection and approval. Local inspection and utility approval to operate must be completed before the system turns on.
- Switch on. Once approved, your system goes live and starts producing.
